As the planning phase for Norway’s forthcoming National Arts Museum draws to a close, images of the institution’s design have been revealed. Designed by Kleihues + Schuwerk Gesellschaft von Architekten, winners of the architectural competition for the new institution, the National Arts Museum aims to enhance the fields of art and design in Norway. It will also serve as a cultural hub for locals and tourists alike.

The new National Arts Museum is part of Norway’s thirty-year urban renewal effort to transform Oslo’s waterfront.
