Four Dutch Golden Age Paintings Recovered 10 Years After Theft

Four paintings from the Dutch Golden Age have been recovered in Ukraine. The masterpieces, which date back to the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, were stolen from the Westfries Museum in Hoorn, Netherlands, in 2005, and held for ransom by a far-right Ukrainian militia. Over twenty-four paintings were looted during the theft
