Mark Bradford, a much lauded abstract painter, has been selected to represent the United States at the Venice Biennale in 2017. Bradford’s exhibition, which is being presented by Brandeis University’s Rose Art Museum, will feature new works by the artist. Held every other year, the Venice Biennale is one of the most prestigious exhibitions of contemporary art in the world.
