The National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne has announced that it will host a major David Hockney exhibition beginning November 2016. The show will feature over 700 works, including the artist’s new digital and animated drawings. Hockney, a pioneer of the British Pop Art movement of the 1960s, is best known for his flat, colorful portraits, landscapes, and still lifes.
