A new book published by Aperture will explore the oeuvre of fashion photographer Louise Dahl-Wolfe. The head photographer at Harper’s Bazaar for more than twenty-two years, Dahl-Wolfe is best known for her relaxed approach to fashion photography, which previously employed a more staid aesthetic. Dahl-Wolfe was also an early champion of color photography and mastered the art of reproducing her images, catching the subtle hues and gradations that brought them to life.
