The Museum of Modern Art in New York has received a whopping $100 million from entertainment tycoon David Geffen. The funds will go toward the institution’s $440 million expansion and renovation plan, which is currently underway. MoMA will name three floors of its new, Jean Nouvel-designed space the David Geffen Wing, and the institution’s existing fourth-floor exhibition space will be renamed the David Geffen Galleries. An avid collector, Geffen’s estimated worth is around $6.8 billion.
