Two years after closing its doors to the public, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is preparing for a major reveal. On Saturday, May 14, the institution will unveil its newly renovated (and considerably expanded) home. Designed by the celebrated architecture firm Snøhetta, the revamped structure boasts three times the gallery space as its predecessor. The size increase will held accommodate the collection of Gap-cofounders, Donald and Doris Fisher.
