The Courtauld Institute of Art in London has received a major grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund—an organization that uses money raised by the country’s National Lottery players to help protect and preserve heritage sites. The $13 million boost will help the Courtauld launch “Courtauld Connects,” a major renovation project that will involve revitalizing its existing structure and adding a new exhibition space. The undertaking is expected to cost around $73 million to complete.
