Christie’s will bolster its presence in China via a new exhibition space in Beijing. The auction house has had an outpost in the city for many years, but the new venue, which is expected to open this fall, will provide permanent viewing and exhibition spaces. While details have not yet been confirmed, The Art Newspaper reports that highlights from Christie’s November sales in New York will go on view in the new space ahead of the auctions.
