Michael Govan, Director of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), and architect Peter Zumthor revealed a model of the institution’s new wing during the first day of the Venice Architecture Biennale. Zumthor, who will helm the renovation, has been working on the expansion plan for a number years. Construction on the new wing is expected to reach completion in 2023.
